Hey CFN!

Your resident Yoga teacher here.

Some of you I don’t see very often in the gym- but I promise, I do exist.  I’ve been rolling into the early morning classes – dazed with bed hair, but none the less, I make it there.

So, Yoga and Crossfit – what’s the link?

There’s quite a few but something that Yoga trains your body to do is breathe more efficiently.

It helps you learn how to breathe deeply into your diaphragm, which directly translates into your ability to produce more power and sustain movements for longer durations. Metcons anyone?

There’s a lot of benefits that translate over into your Crossfit performance that help you excel as an athlete. Training your body to breathe efficiently is just one.

Yoga every Tuesday at CFN 7:30pm
