With those cleans, we could always go with a Cal-Strength approach and hit a push press, push jerk, split jerk and squat jerk following.

(Check out 3:00 on this video – Spencer Moorman with some great jerks)

Here’s the link to the coffee I told you about http://www.bulletproofexec.com/coffee/. I liked the way the class ran too, btw.

Alright so I’ve got a topic for discussion:

Predictions about this years games? (events, competitors, movements)

Thus far the only strong prediction I have is that bench press will be included (probably in the form of a one rep max, however reps could also be a good idea), my reasoning being – there have been tons of Westside Barbell videos on the mainsite in the past few months and it has never been in the games before. I also feel that tires will be included in the games (probably flips, because there was a sled pull already last year). I’d also love to see me some bar muscle ups and triple-unders, talk about a gamebreaker.

i’m not really one for predicitions. i like to be surprised and just go with it. but i like where your head is at. those three movements could really throw a wrench in a lot of peoples game plan. that definitely includes mine. i guess three more things to practice. i really have been meaning to hit the bench more…

    Cleans: 105lb, 115lb, 120lb. Felt good.

Competitors Wod: 10:55 Rx. That was so slow – box jumps and thrusters are two of my slowest movements. But I’m reasonably happy with that considering.

Cleans 85, 95, 105…I really don’t know what my one rep max is at this point those all felt good and relatively easy.

WOD 10:27, ok for the first work out with weights for two weeks.

I may do this WOD tomorrow. Was it named in honor of lactic acid?
